Synopsis:
David Cronenberg's deeply bizarre adaptation of the novel by William S Burroughs. Peter Weller stars as an insect exterminator who dreams of becoming a writer. Fate has other plans though, and instead he develops an all-consuming addiction to his own hallucinogenic bug poison, which leads him to shoot his wife and retreat into a drug-induced fantasy world of intrigue and paranoia.
