Mulan

Gorgeous and enthralling Disney animated adventure inspired by a Chinese folk tale, following the exploits of Mulan, a girl who rejects her traditional role in an attempt to save her ailing father's life. When war threatens, he's determined to fight with the ordinary soldiers, prompting his daughter to enlist in his place - a move that ensures her destiny as a national hero and, surprisingly, helps her in the search for romance.
