The story of Kate Soffel, a prison warden's wife who strikes up a friendship with convicted murderer Ed Biddle. Exhilarated by the new relationship and frustrated by her humdrum life, Mrs Soffel decides to leave her husband and help Biddle break out of the facility. Fact-based drama set in 1901, starring Mel Gibson, Diane Keaton, Matthew Modine and Edward Herrmann
