A recently widowed and very wealthy woman decides to invest her time and fortunes into a London theatre, and hires a veteran director to bring an original production to the stage. However, it isn't long before the local competition is copying the act, forcing the eccentric owner to go to new - and lewd - lengths to attract the punters. Upbeat comedy drama, based on the beginnings of the Windmill Theatre, with charming performances from Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins. Christopher Guest, Thelma Barlow and pop idol-turned-actor Will Young also star
