When her estranged husband embarks on a new relationship, a disturbed mother returns to the family she walked out on and vows revenge on the woman who's moved in and taken her place. The vengeful ex-wife hatches an evil plan to frame her rival for assault, and ropes her young son into the potentially dangerous scheme. By-the-numbers thriller, with scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis obviously enjoying her murderous mum role. Peter Gallagher, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer, Vanessa Redgrave and Luke Edwards offer what they can in the way of support
