Movie (1984)
Offbeat, sentimental comedy drama about Vladimir Ivanoff, a Russian circus saxophonist who travels to the United States to perform. During a shopping trip in New York, the musician decides to defect, and is given a place to stay by a friendly security guard. However, as Vladimir adapts to the American culture, he begins to realise life as an immigrant isn't quite what he expected. Robin Williams gives a touching and understated performance, alongside Maria Conchita Alonso, Cleavant Derricks and Alejandro Rey
