Movie (2001)
Carefree cartoonist Stu Miley is involved in a freak accident, which leaves him trapped in a netherworld based on his nightmares and at the mercy of manic cartoon character Monkeybone - his own creation. The only hope of getting out is to win an 'exit pass' from Death before the doctors pull the plug. Bizarre comedy that looks amazing, but veers wildly between being imaginatively twisted and just far too silly for its own good. Starring Brendan Fraser and Bridget Fonda, with John Turturro providing the voice for the titular simian hellraiser
