Biopic of the renowned Italian artist, starring Andy Garcia. Amedeo Modigliani lives a life of drink and debauchery in 1919 Paris, conducting a bitter rivalry with Picasso and a passionate love affair with his model and muse, Jeanne - to the horror of her parents. When Amedeo and Jeanne's illegitimate child is taken by her family and sent to a convent, he is forced to compromise his artistic principles by competing in a prestigious competition.
