John Huston's stunning adaptation of Herman Melville's classic seafaring adventure, starring Gregory Peck as the obsessive skipper leading his ship and crew on an epic quest to find and kill a legendary white whale. Richard Basehart and Leo Genn also star - but it's Orson Welles who steals the show, giving an electrifying performance as Father Mapple, a fiery whaling town preacher. The screenplay was penned by acclaimed author Ray Bradbury
