Synopsis:
Director John Woo's stylish blockbusting sequel to the smash-hit 1996 action thriller sees Tom Cruise return as IMF agent Ethan Hunt to face another tough challenge - in the shape of a criminal mastermind intent on unleashing a deadly virus on the world. There may be a few too many close-ups of Cruise's assorted exertions, but the strong supporting cast, which includes Dougray Scott, Thandie Newton and Anthony Hopkins, makes up for it.
