While on a fishing holiday, Harley Street specialist Griffith Jones traps a rather unusual creature in his nets : a mermaid. Excited by his catch, he takes her back to his hometown, where his wife and her friends aren't at all impressed by the glamorous visitor. Glynis Johns makes a fetching mermaid in this fluffy comedy, alongside Googie Withers and Margaret Rutherford
