A lonely divorcee stumbles across a note tucked into a bottle washed ashore on a beach, setting in motion a series of events destined to change her life irrevocably. The message from an unknown heartbroken man moves her so much that she resolves to track him down - a search that leads her to a widowed shipbuilder unable to let go of his wife's memory.
