Movie (1970)
A black soldier returns to the Deep South following the American Civil War, hoping society will have changed for the better. But he soon discovers that the old prejudices of his white neighbours still remain, forcing him to fight for his rights all over again. This uneven Western has a hard-hitting theme, but it's not really dealt with in any depth. Burl Ives, Brock Peters, David Carradine and Jack Palance are among the cast
