Synopsis:
Mel Gibson plays Bret Maverick, a suave con artist who joins forces with the equally wily Jodie Foster to cheat his way across the Wild West and win enough money to enter a high-stakes poker tournament. Top-drawer Western comedy, with James Garner, star of the original TV series, lending support alongside Graham Greene and James Coburn.
