Movie (1988)
The unhappy wife of a Mafia hit-man finds the perfect chance to escape the world of organised crime when her husband is killed. But any hopes of breaking free to start a new life are soon curtailed when she finds both mobsters and the FBI hot on her trail. Enjoyable gangster spoof, starring Michelle Pfeiffer as the sultry damsel in distress and Dean Stockwell as a crime kingpin with amorous intentions. Matthew Modine adds a nice comic touch as an accident-prone lawman, with Alec Baldwin, Mercedes Ruehl, Oliver Platt and Joan Cusack rounding off the cast
