Painfully immature singer Marc pleads for help with his career from his old drama teacher, who has never forgiven him for a disastrous attack of stage fright. As his band falls apart and a school production of the same show he ruined gets underway, Marc discovers his supposed mentor is sleeping with his teenage girlfriend.
