Movie (1999)
Wife and mother Sigourney Weaver struggles to come to terms with her new life in the country. However, her problems get considerably worse when she babysits a friend's child, only for tragedy to strike, and a subsequent accusation of abuse leaves the innocent woman falling apart behind bars. Downbeat but affecting drama, based on a novel by Jane Hamilton, also starring Julianne Moore, David Strathairn and Ron Lea
