Movie (1962)
Superb political thriller set in the aftermath of the Korean War, about a distinguished soldier brainwashed by the enemy into becoming a remote-controlled killing machine. Laurence Harvey is on fine form as the unwitting assassin, while Frank Sinatra gives arguably the best acting performance of his career, as the fellow soldier who realises what's happened to his old friend. Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury also star. A remake of the 1962 film, directed by Jonathan Demme and starring Denzel Washington.
