A reclusive spinster finds an escaped petty thief in her attic, but rather than turning him in, decides to try and reform his crooked character. The mismatched pair form an unlikely friendship that is destined to end in sadness. Disappointing comedy drama, enlivened by a charming lead performance from Katharine Hepburn. Also starring Ryan O'Neal and Helena Carroll.
