Denzel Washington gives an Oscar-nominated performance in the story of the controversial militant activist who led the fight for civil rights in America. Spike Lee's worthy biopic is rambling at times, clocking in at more than three hours, but eloquently shows a human side to an often misunderstood figure. Also starring the excellent Angela Bassett, Albert Hall, Delroy Lindo and Al Freeman Jnr.
