Synopsis:
An unstable ventriloquist falls under the influence of his dummy. Seeking solace in a remote resort run by an old flame, he finds his feelings for her returning - and his mental state deteriorating. Anthony Hopkins gives a suitably intense performance in this hit-and-miss psychological chiller directed by Richard Attenborough, with Ann-Margret and Burgess Meredith.
