Ang Lee's drama, set during the Japanese occupation of China in World War Two, stars Wei Tang as an actress recruited by a militant group for an important mission. The revolutionaries are plotting the assassination of a government official collaborating with the occupying forces, and need her to draw him into an affair so she can provide them with information.
