Movie (1999)
A former Paris policeman working as a private eye in Soho uncovers a sinister paedophile ring while tracking down an old friend's missing brother-in-law. It's an ambitious drama from director Chris Menges, but there are too many complicated twists to be truly gripping, and it may leave viewers scratching their heads instead. Daniel Auteuil takes the lead - in his first English language film - alongside Ciarán Hinds, Nastassja Kinski, Katrin Cartlidge and Billie Whitelaw
