Lost Horizon
Movie (1973)
Five travellers are involved in a plane crash, and end up finding the mystical Himalayan paradise of Shangri-La. This musical fantasy has a great cast, with the likes of Peter Finch, Liv Ullmann, George Kennedy, Michael York, Olivia Hussey and John Gielgud involved. However, the story itself doesn't really work, and the poorly conceived musical numbers (by Burt Bacharach and Hal David) don't do anyone any favours. Includes News and Weather at 3
