The Lost Boys
Movie (1987)
Two brothers move with their mother to California, where they laugh at rumours that a local teenage gang are vampires - until their disbelief is turned to terror by a chilling run-in with the bloodsuckers. It's never going to become a genre classic, but it has won a cult following over the years, and is worth a look for the hilariously dated costumes and music, not to mention star Kiefer Sutherland's turn as the undead rebel without a cause.
