Richard Widmark plays a valiant Viking warrior who vows to find a priceless golden bell. He manages to send most of his rivals off on a wild goose chase, leaving him free to hunt at his own pace. But he reckons without the intervention of ambitious Saracens, who realise what he's up to and are determined to claim the prize themselves.
