A ruthless London crime lord tries to extend his dockland empire by exploring business opportunities in America. When his organisation is the target of a series of bombings, he discovers a mysterious syndicate is trying to muscle in on his territory, and resorts to increasingly brutal methods to expose the culprits. Wonderful gritty thriller, starring Bob Hoskins, Helen Mirren, Dave King and Bryan Marshall. Look out for Pierce Brosnan and Casualty's Derek Thompson in supporting roles
