Synopsis:

Timothy Dalton made a refreshing change in his debut appearance as James Bond. Out went the puns, and in stepped the near-humourless character with a distinct dark side from Ian Fleming's novels, this time helping the Soviets hunt down a KGB defector. The adventure is helped along by great action scenes, and an engaging cast, including Maryam d'Abo as the heroine, and Joe Don Baker and Jeroen Krabbe playing villains. A-ha provide the title song. Including ITV News, Local News and Weather
