Movie (2006)
Oscar-winning drama, set in East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Ulrich Mühe stars as secret service agent Wiesler, whose life is spent dispassionately spying on and recording the activities of suspected enemies of the state. His latest subject is a celebrated playwright and his actress lover. But as he watches them, he becomes increasingly obsessed with their daily lives - as well as learning some unexpected secrets. Also starring Martina Gedeck and Sebastian Koch.
