Movie (1989)
Drama, set in the aftermath of World War One, starring Philippe Noiret as a French officer haunted by his memories of battle who resolves to discover the fates of all the soldiers listed as missing in action, and put a name to every unidentified dead body left on the battlefield. His obsessive mission leads him to meet a grieving war widow, and he is tormented by his growing desire for her - especially when he learns her husband was keeping a shocking secret from her.
