Movie (2003)
Manual Jordan (Billy Bob Thornton) is released from prison after serving 23 years for accidentally killing a teenager during an attempted robbery, and heads back to his home town. He is helped back on his feet by a preacher, who provides him with work, food and shelter. Despite his best efforts to move on, Manual remains haunted by his actions, and in a search for redemption he befriends the unsuspecting sister of his past victim.
