Synopsis:
Mel Gibson stars in the first of the flashy Lethal Weapon films, as a mentally unstable Vietnam veteran-turned-cop who teams up with steady family man Danny Glover to investigate a suicide. Their undercover work soon finds them up against a ruthless drugs ring - leading to a particularly violent and bloody encounter. A tougher, grittier affair than the more comedic sequels.
