Movie (1951)
This is arguably one of the funniest films ever made in the UK and even though it's now more than 50 years old, the humour is just as fresh as when it was first released. The plot focuses on a group of people who inherit a small fortune from an eccentric relative. Nothing strange about that - but the conditions of the will state that each person must carry out a bizarre task in order to collect. Alastair Sim is as brilliant as ever at the head of the cast, which also includes Fay Compton, George Cole and Guy Middleton.
