Synopsis:

Medieval fantasy, starring Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer as lovers separated by a wicked curse which turns her into a hawk during the day, and him into a wolf at night. Matthew Broderick co-stars as an escaped prisoner rescued by Hauer who becomes determined to break the spell - but his stubborn saviour is more concerned with revenge on the bishop who cast it. A hilariously inappropriate synthesiser score aside, this is enchanting stuff. With John Wood, Leo McKern and Alfred Molina
