Movie (1941)
Naive explorer Charles Pike returns from an expedition up the Amazon, and con woman Jean Harrington is urged on by her father to seduce him for his riches. When fate ruins her scheme, she adopts a disguise to make a second attempt - only to find herself falling for her intended victim. Witty Preston Sturges comedy, with accomplished performances by Henry Fonda and Barbara Stanwyck. Also starring Charles Coburn and Eugene Pallette
