Synopsis:
Epic account of the 1883 eruption of the volcano on Krakatoa, and the impact of the disaster on a shipload of passengers including treasure hunters, convicts and a widow looking for her long-lost son. Unfortunately, director Bernard L Kowalski seems to have put all his efforts into creating the 'wow' factor with special effects rather than paying any attention to the story - or geography, since Krakatoa is actually west of Java.
