Synopsis:
Endearing sentimental comedy, directed by Jack Lemmon and starring his old sparring partner Walter Matthau as an elderly widower who finds comfort in his friendship with a pregnant youngster after his wilful ways infuriate his family beyond endurance. Deborah Winters and Felicia Farr also star, but it's Matthau who steals the show, giving a performance that earned him an Oscar nomination
