Movie (1961)
Drama following an Indian theatre company in the early days of independence, as their desire to stage politically motivated performances comes into conflict with the problems of everyday life. The group's leading actress finds herself torn between her devotion to the theatre's charismatic director and the promise of a new life in France with her fiance.
