Movie (2005)
Gaël García Bernal stars as Elvis, a young American who, after being discharged from the navy, travels to Texas to track down the father who abandoned him as a baby. Elvis discovers his estranged parent is now a prominent churchman who wants nothing to do with his illegitimate son, so the rejected young man decides to exact revenge by embarking on an affair with the preacher's daughter. The relationship ends in disaster when the girl becomes pregnant, while a confrontation between Elvis and her brother has fatal consequences. Meanwhile, the pastor begins to have a change of heart, blissfully unaware of what his estranged child has been up to. Gripping drama, also with William Hurt and Pell James.
