Movie (1989)
One-time celebrity couple Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley star in this stylish film noir-inspired thriller, directed by John Dahl. Whalley is on sizzling form playing a femme fatale who steals a fortune from her Mafia-connected lover and pays a sleazy private eye (Kilmer) to fake her death. But events inevitably spiral rapidly out of control as the villains find out about her double-dealing, and set out to punish the pair of them. Michael Madsen, Jonathan Gries and Pat Mulligan co-star.
