American lawyer Joely Fisher heads for her sister's wedding - but events take a nasty turn when the bride is kidnapped by modern-day pirates, led by a leering Robert Knepper. Desperate to rescue her sibling, the legal eagle enlists the help of a drunken former smuggler. Knepper gives a scene-stealing performance as the rogue, but otherwise it's a bland adventure.
