Movie (1990)
Tom Hanks stars as timid advertising executive Joe, who is diagnosed with an incurable disease. The bad news gives him the confidence to quit his dead-end job and turn his miserable life around for the time he has left. He is soon approached by millionaire Lloyd Bridges, who has a bizarre proposition. He will provide a life of luxury if, in return, Joe agrees to sacrifice himself by jumping into an active volcano. However, his experiences of freedom from responsibility prompt him to rethink the agreement. Offbeat, likeable romantic comedy, also starring Meg Ryan in three different roles, alongside Robert Stack and Dan Hedaya
