It seems those foolhardy military types will never learn. They finally get masked maniac Jason Voorhees under lock and key, and decide the best thing to do is experiment on him. The ensuing bloodbath leaves him cryogenically frozen, but he's defrosted five centuries later to find himself on board a spaceship.
