Movie (1977)
An alcoholic sculptor attempts to ignore the horrors of World War Two by retiring to the Bahamas - but the encroaching conflict soon draws him in as his idyllic island home becomes a battleground. Adventure based on Ernest Hemingway's last novel, with George C Scott giving an excellent, intense performance in the lead, which is sadly compromised by problems with the script.
