This crime drama makes for challenging and often shocking viewing, and is all the more chilling for being based on a real case. It follows the efforts of police officers to catch a killer, only for him to slip through their fingers thanks to a combination of legal wrangling and elementary blunders. Once back on the streets, the ruthless perpetrator is soon ready to continue his murderous rampage, while the struggling cops attempt to build a case for the second time.
