Invaders from Mars

A boy witnesses the landing of an alien spaceship, but can't get anyone to believe him - until visitors to the site begin acting strangely. The little lad is soon trapped in a nightmarish race to find someone he can trust before he too falls foul of the extraterrestrial menace. Excellent sci-fi drama which may lack the thrills of modern genre offerings, but boasts an almost palpable sense of menace which more than makes up for it. Jimmy Hunt is brilliant as the confused youngster, stealing the show from co-stars Helena Carter, Arthur Franz and Leif Erickson
