Bold, fact-based drama about English servant Ingrid Bergman, who achieves her dream of becoming a missionary and courageously leads a group of terrified children through hostile territory in pre-World War Two China. Director Mark Robson received an Oscar nomination for this offering, which co-stars Curt Jürgens, Ronald Squire and Robert Donat, who sadly died a few days after the film was completed
