An art forger decides to leave the shady world of faking it behind, but not before completing one final job - recreating a Rembrandt masterpiece. Unluckily, he discovers too late that the whole deal is part of a ridiculously elaborate murder plot, and he must prove the painting isn't the real thing in order to establish his innocence - but experts are sure it's genuine. Really convoluted thriller, with the cast - including Jason Patric, Irene Jacob, Rod Steiger and Thomas Lockyer - trying hard to look like they care, but not making a very good job of it
