Movie (1967)
When a wealthy industrialist is murdered in Mississippi, the racist local sheriff immediately accuses a black man recently arrived in town of the crime - only to learn his suspect is a highly respected homicide detective. The duo are forced to put aside their mutual loathing and join forces to track down the killer. Acclaimed thriller, with fantastic performances from Sidney Poitier and an Oscar-winning Rod Steiger, who clearly relish the chance to flex their acting muscles with quality material. The gripping story will keep viewers watching to the end. Warren Oates and Quentin Dean also star.
