Judy Garland is on fine form in this chirpy musical version of classic 1940 romance The Shop Around the Corner. Two quarrelling workmates fall in love while corresponding anonymously through a dating service. Van Johnson and Buster Keaton co-star. Watch out for a very young Liza Minnelli (Garland's real-life daughter), who makes an uncredited appearance at the finale
